Meta-Cal Weight Management Algorithm

MetaCal is an advanced mathematical algorithm that takes the guess work out of weight management. It is a technologically driven algorithm that incorporates an array of calibrating variables such as RMR, EPOC, total energy consumption, target weight, time, and exercise specific caloric expenditure.

RMR (resting metabolic rate)

RMR – resting metabolic rate - is how many calories you would burn if you were just resting for 24 hours. It is the minimum amount of energy required to keep your body functioning, including your heart beating, lungs breathing, and body temperature normal.
